Rotorua Open 2011

This Friday sees the first round of the 2011 Rotorua Open and defending Champion Landyn Edwards is finding some great form along with Tyler lock who both ripped the course up in practice today.
William Howard from the Rotorua Boys High School Golf Academy is coming off 3 solid rounds last week at Gisbourne and can not wait for the start of this years event. Jason kim has a point to prove after disapointing Supr 8 Finals, he loves the Rotorua golf club lay out and says it really suits his game.

Tavita Solomona is competing in his first big tournament and has been practising very hard with Ruel Pedersen who also calls Rotorua home and loves the course.
Tawhirimatea Witoko, Luke Robinson, William Brown, Tekotuku TeAute and Doug Matthews are all expected to do well with local knowledge of the course at their advantage.
