Golf Academy Update

Rotorua Golf Club Championships

Mens – Piki White is in 2nd place whileTavita Solomona and Doug Mathews are in 3^rd at the Half way stage of the 4 round event,

Womens – Rotana is leading with Grace in ^3rd  place and Tammy in 4^th

The last two rounds are being played this weekend Saturday and Sunday.

Andrew Stewart, Ruel Pedersen, Landyn Edwards, William Howard and William Brown  all competed last weekend in a quadrangular event at the Napier golf club against the Hawkes Bay, Waikato and Poverty Bay. The Bay of Plenty finished 2^nd with Waikato winning.

This week Andrew Stewart, Chantelle Cassidy, Landyn Edwards, Ruel Pedersen, William Howard, Luke Robinson and Grace Senior are all competing in the Charles tour event in Tauranga, Tournament starts on Thursday (practice round Tuesday, Pro Am Wednesday first round Thursday).

RBHS Get their Revenge

In a match that was played in great sprits and at the end of the day golf was the real winner, Rotorua Boys High came out on top. A huge thank you the Rotorua Golf Club for hosting us, John Weston Rotorua Golf Club Professional and the Lone Star Rotorua for the great prizes.

It's all on again Waiariki vs RBHS

Here we go again, with ten players away with Bay of Plenty duties it is left up to those left behind to battle it out for bragging rights. last year the Waiariki Academy wiped the floor with Rotorua Boys High in an 11 matches to 2 victory. With all the big guns away it should be a lot closer this year.
