Academy of Sport Golf Athletes are put through the paces in a performanced based training session, these sessions require the athletes to set goals for there practice session and monitor their progress through the recording of achievements.

Second Win in 2011 for Chantelle Cassidy
After an Epic playoff chantelle Cassidy has won the 2011 North Island Under 19 Championship at the st Andrews Golf Club In Hamilton today. Cassidy Holed a huge 25 foot putt on the 54th hole to force a play off, after 6 play off holes Chantelle was nearly flawless in her play and managed to claim victory.
William Howard Played consistent golf throughout the Boys championship finishing 4 over par for the championship and in a tie for 5th place.
Jason Kim had putting problems and after poor start to his final round he rallied and played some great golf and finished in a tie for 37th place. Both Luke Robinson and William Brown missed the cut.

North Island U19 Championship 2011
First round scores William Howard 71, -1 under par second place. Jason kim 76, +4 twenty first place. Luke Robinson and William Brown both 84, +12 ninty fifth place.
Chantelle Cassidy 82, +10 sixteen place, Rotana howard 83, +11 seventeenth place.
Rotorua Boys high is well repersented at this weeks North Island Under 19 championship at the St Andrews Golf Club in Hamilton. Todays first round will see inform William Howard, William Brown, Jason kim and Luke Robinson all stake their claim to become this Champion. It's one of the strongests fields with +4 handicap Chang young Chun one of the favourites.

Edwards & Howard through to final 8
2nd seed William Howard is through to the final 8 in dominate style with a 5&4 victory in his first round match. Landyn Edwards was tested all the way winning on the 19th hole in his match against Wellington Repersentive Huapai Puha. Ruel Pedersen played great golf finishing 2 under par but it was not enough as he lost on the 18th hole in his match.
Edwards Lights up Te Awamutu with a blistering 63
Landyn Edwards shot a 7 under par 63 to take out the stroke play section of the New Zealand Maori Championship today by 4 shots over William Howard who follow up with a second round of 68. Making it Waiariki 1st and Rotorua boys High 2nd. Ruel Pedersen has also qualified for the match section finishing 13th with a solid par round of 70 today.

William Howard Out in front at New Zealand Maori Championship
William Howards was in red hot form and tops the leader board after the first round of stroke play shooting a 68 around the tricky Stewart Alexander golf course, close behind him is Waiariki Academy of Sport athlete Landyn Edwards who shot an impressive 69. The final round of the strokeplay is being played today at the Te Awamutu Golf Club. The top 16 players from the strokeplay will qualify for the matchplay with the winner of the matchplay being crowned the 2011 New Zealand Maori Champion.

Chantelle Cassidy Wins 2011 Springfield Open
a fantastic display of quality ball striking from tee to green has seen Chantelle Cassidy take out this years Springfield Open. the golf course was in mint condition and set up very tough for the final round, which made Cassidy's victory even sweeter as it took a real champion to come through under the tour testing pins set up today.
